Ember privacy policy

Draft of 25 October 2026, to be reviewed by counsel before general release. Ember is made by Futurise.

What we collect

  • Your account: name, work email, company, city, mobile, and for tax invoices your GSTIN, legal name and billing address.
  • What your own Claude sends to Ember when you use it: facts and preferences you ask Ember to keep, promises, decisions, tasks, short meeting summaries, the city you tell Ember you are in, and short summaries of mail found by your mail check (sender, a summary of at most 200 characters, dates and amounts). Ember does not store full mail bodies or meeting transcripts.
  • Payment status from Razorpay (whether your mandate is approved and payments are made). We never see your card or UPI details.
  • Basic service records: when a tool was last used, errors, and sign-in records.

How we use and store it

Only to run Ember for you and your team, to bill you and issue GST invoices, and to keep the service working. Your Ember data is kept in your own private space, separate from every other client’s. Futurise staff see health and billing records, not your content, unless you ask us to look into a problem.

We never use your data to train AI models, and we never sell it.

Who else handles it

  • Anthropic, through your own Claude account: what you say to Claude is governed by your Claude plan’s terms. Ember receives only what your Claude sends to it.
  • Vercel (hosting), Turso (database), Resend (sign-in code emails) and Razorpay (payments) process data for us to run the service.
  • Nobody else, unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

While you use Ember, and after you stop until you ask us to delete it. Tax invoices and payment records are kept as long as Indian tax law requires. Ask us to export or delete your data at any time; in this early version we do it by hand and confirm by email.

Location

Ember never tracks your location. It knows only the city you tell it, or what your calendar shows when you ask it to use your calendar.
